About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers orders by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The position also performs general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training and orientation are provided. Drivers are paid hourly at the applicable minimum wage; the posting states a Northern Oregon rate of $16.80 per hour. Credit-card tips, cash tips, and partial mileage reimbursement are paid at the end of each shift, while hourly pay is issued by check or direct deposit twice monthly. Scheduled hours depend on the employee’s availability and store needs. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Be able to communicate and interact respectfully and effectively with people across cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have the motor coordination and eye-hand coordination needed to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Meet the physical demands described in the posting, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, climbing stairs, and driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Prepare products.

• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
