About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products to customers and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts deliver products by car and to customers’ doors, and may distribute flyers and door hangers. They also operate store equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The position involves working in a store environment with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery work may involve adverse weather, driving, and navigating stairs or other challenging terrain. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting and carrying items, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must have motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Must be able to lift and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds and carry pizza and beverages during deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate to delivery addresses, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Work with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
