About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items while providing friendly customer service and representing the store positively. The role combines driving with in-store work, including taking orders, preparing food, restocking, and keeping the store clean. Delivery Experts are expected to drive safely, know the delivery area, handle cash accurately, and follow store procedures for equipment and order processing. The position offers training and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination for rapid, precise movements.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the described stocking and material-handling tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers; greet customers promptly.
Drive safely and courteously, obey traffic laws, and know the store’s delivery area and maps.
Take and process orders by phone and in person.
Handle cash, cash drops, and reconciliation accurately, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, and properly store issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and stock deliveries, including lifting and moving supplies as needed.
Perform occasional store tasks such as changing prices on signs, washing walls, and basic maintenance.
