About The Position
The Delivery Expert upholds Domino's standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance; collects cash and credit card payments; and promotes pizza products and specials. The role includes cross-training in product and ingredient preparation, opening and closing procedures, pizza oven operation, and boxing products for delivery or carryout. The Delivery Expert checks products for accuracy and quality, responds promptly to store phones and carryout customers, and provides quality service to internal and external customers in person and over the phone. The position also requires clear communication, use of a computer-based order entry system, teamwork, and compliance with applicable driving laws and company rules. Delivery vehicles must remain mechanically and physically sound, properly registered, and insured.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a reliable vehicle with current insurance.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Uphold Domino's standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance.
- Collect cash and credit card payments.
- Promote pizza products and specials.
- Receive cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
- Check products for accuracy against quality standards.
- Respond promptly to store phone calls and assist carryout customers.
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers over the phone and in person.
- Speak and write clearly and accurately.
- Use a computer-based order entry system.
- Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
- Follow state and federal vehicle and driving laws, rules, and regulations.
- Follow Domino's Pizza, LLC and Tylaur, Inc. rules and regulations.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is mechanically and physically sound, properly registered, and insured at all times.
