About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products within a designated area and perform general store team-member duties. Team members receive on-the-job orientation and training. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management and franchise ownership. Delivery Experts use a car to deliver products to customers and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They must have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle. The position also involves preparing products, handling orders and payments, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, cleaning, and operating store equipment. The work involves standing for most tasks, short-distance walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, carrying and lifting supplies, pushing or pulling trays, and navigating stairs or other delivery terrain. Team members may encounter changing weather, a range of indoor temperatures, food odors, dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, occasional crouching or squatting, and climbing.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within a designated delivery area and to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and adverse terrain.
Handle products and supplies, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling as needed.
