About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Team members operate equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; take and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. Delivery duties include driving within a designated area, delivering orders to customers’ doors, and distributing flyers and door hangers. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry by keyboard or touch screen, handling supplies and products, and navigating delivery sites that may include adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, and stairs. The role involves standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies and products, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, and driving. Working conditions may include adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Be able to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Meet the physical demands described, including lifting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying products during deliveries.

Responsibilities

Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Use maps and navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate delivery sites.
