About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks ingredients, prepares products, receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, completes paperwork, and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role delivers products by car to customers’ doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. It requires accurate basic arithmetic and monetary change-making, order-taking and communication skills, computer or touchscreen entry, motor coordination, and the ability to navigate delivery areas and carry products across varied terrain and into multi-story buildings.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.

Responsibilities
