About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks ingredients in storage and work areas, prepares products, receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, completes paperwork, and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role delivers products by car to customers’ doors, distributes flyers and door hangers, and requires navigating to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The position also involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, and handling payments.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
Ability to deliver product by car.
