About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers orders to customers within a designated area and also helps with in-store work. Domino's provides training in deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store tasks. The role may offer opportunities to advance from delivery work into management and franchise ownership. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and use a reliable personal vehicle for deliveries.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, in person and by phone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including driving, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, and continuous reaching and hand use.
• Ability to lift and unload deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders.
• Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Unload and stock ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck.
• Assist with other in-store tasks as needed, including making pizza.
