About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and provide customer service on the road and in the store. Drivers receive training to handle deliveries, make pizza, and assist with other store tasks. The role offers opportunities to develop within Domino’s, including potential advancement to management and franchise ownership. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and are expected to help with general store duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as perform the other physical tasks described for the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Assist with in-store tasks and work with the team.
