About The Position

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Driver is responsible for promptly delivering customer orders, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety. This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork, accountability, quality, and customer service matter. While the early morning schedules aren't for everyone, many of our employees appreciate having more of their day available for family, personal commitments, and the things that matter most outside of work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of professional driving experience.
Valid, clean Driver’s License (no CDL required).
Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds regularly.
Ability to work flexible schedules, weekend shifts, and on-call shifts as production dictates.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience operating commercial box trucks is highly preferred.
Strong familiarity with Long Island and tri-state area commercial roadways is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of DOT and FMCSA safety guidelines.
General knowledge of meat products is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe, compliance-focused, and timely delivery of product on assigned routes.
Review invoices and orders prior to departure to ensure accurate loading.
Load and unload trucks safely, adapting to specific customer delivery requests.
Obtain formal delivery confirmations and signatures from each customer.
Adhere strictly to all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and logs.
