About The Position

The Delivery Expert (Driver) delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously in compliance with traffic laws. The role also includes in-store customer service and food preparation, order taking, cash handling, cleaning, stocking, and promotional leaflet delivery. Delivery Experts work as part of a small store team and may have opportunities for training and career progression. The position involves driving and working in-store in varying conditions, including adverse weather, temperature changes, cramped spaces, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, driving, reaching, bending, unloading and carrying supplies, moving trays, and occasionally navigating stairs or climbing a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and Team Members in person and over the phone.
Must be able to talk and hear on the telephone.
Must have motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Must have near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Must be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Must be able to stand, walk, and drive throughout scheduled work for long periods.
Must be able to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the described stocking and material-handling tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws, and know the store’s delivery area and area maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person; greet customers within 10 seconds.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use and properly display, return, and store Domino’s equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
