About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and distributes flyers and door hangers. The role also includes general store-team-member duties: operating equipment; stocking ingredients and supplies; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Drivers may make several deliveries per shift. They must use navigation skills to locate addresses and navigate varied delivery sites, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other locations. The work involves carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, potentially including five or more flights of stairs, and exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the listed carrying, walking, climbing, reaching, bending, and hand tasks.
• Far and night vision for driving.
