About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated area and helps with in-store duties when not making deliveries. The role includes customer service, processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino's provides training for deliveries, pizza making, and other store tasks. The position may offer opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record that meets company standards.
Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching and hand use.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces; depth perception and near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
Perform occasional outdoor tasks, such as removing trash, and assist with other in-store tasks.
