About The Position

Domino's is hiring delivery drivers to make deliveries within the designated area and periodically assist with in-store tasks such as food preparation and cleaning. Drivers use their own insured, registered vehicle and must meet company driving-history and vehicle-safety standards. The role includes on-the-job orientation and training, and may offer opportunities for career advancement within Domino's, from customer service and management roles to franchise ownership.

The position pays $16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Team members may operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. Work may involve outdoor weather exposure, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The role also has physical demands including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries; the vehicle must be registered, and the driver must be listed on its insurance policy.
• Must have at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States and provide documentation of that history.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years; a suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
• Driving record limits: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
• Must have customer-service and navigation skills, including the ability to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must be able to comprehend and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform precise, rapid motor coordination and navigate adverse terrain while carrying products.
• Must be able to meet the described physical requirements, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds and performing repeated standing, reaching, bending, and hand-use tasks.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Vehicles used for business deliveries must pass periodic inspections covering listed safety and operating components; vehicles that do not pass must not be used for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
• Navigate to customer addresses, including through adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Assist periodically with in-store tasks, including food preparation and cleaning.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Use a personal vehicle that meets the required inspection and safe-operating standards for business deliveries.
