About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated area and provides customer service while working both on the road and in the store. The role includes helping with food preparation and other in-store tasks, with training provided. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and may also support store operations such as taking orders, stocking ingredients, and cleaning.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull trays on dollies and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Ability to bend, crouch, squat, and reach as needed for stocking, cleaning, and food preparation.
• Ability to use hands continuously and frequently use forearms and wrists forcefully to shape pizza dough.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone and use near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
• Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Help with in-store tasks, including making pizza.
