About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and perform general store team-member duties, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position involves working in a store and making deliveries to customer locations. Work may expose team members to changing or adverse weather, a range of in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers and to take and process orders by telephone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to carry products while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including lifting and carrying loads of up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, and climbing stairs.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and interact with people.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and bring orders to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Follow company standards for safe driving and delivery.
