About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting customer orders safely and promptly. They assemble, load, transport, and deliver orders along assigned routes while following road-safety rules. Drivers are expected to be polite, thorough, reliable, and committed to providing customers with an impressive experience. The role requires clean, reliable transportation with valid insurance. Drivers may also assist with store tasks when needed, including stocking and cleaning delivery and dining areas, washing dishes when no dishwasher is on shift, helping in the kitchen as backup, and occasionally taking phone, counter, or window orders. Relevant on-the-job training is provided for employer-specific systems and procedures.

Requirements

Own reliable transportation that is kept clean and free of debris.
Valid insurance for the vehicle used for delivery.
Ability to read, understand, and follow a map.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate.
Ability to understand and work with numbers.
Ability to follow directions and achieve goals.
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow a schedule, arrive on time, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly with smart hustle.
Effective communication with a variety of clientele.
At least two years of driving experience and history for candidates age 18; at least one year for candidates age 19 or older.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time in complete uniform with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
Keep the car-top light on during deliveries.
Assemble orders accurately, including extras such as dipping cups and sodas.
Enter assigned orders into the Pulse routing program within one minute of leaving the store.
Move quickly but safely between the store, vehicle, and customers’ doors.
Transport hot items in proper heat bags and cold items in plastic T bags.
Load assigned orders into a clean, safe vehicle approved for Domino’s delivery.
Drive safely, obey traffic laws, and follow assigned routes; do not make additional stops without permission.
Collect customer payments, provide correct change, and obtain signatures for credit- and debit-card transactions.
Track cash and receipts and ensure they balance at the end of the shift.
Use the drop box to keep cash in the bank bag under $20 and do not keep money in the vehicle.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
Keep the driver area organized, neat, clean, and stocked.
Keep the box hutch and other box-stocking areas clean and stocked.
At closing, check that the dining area is clean and stocked.
Keep heat bags clean and free of rips and tears.
Sweep regularly and mop when needed; mopping every night is required.
Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
Help cook food and perform kitchen work when necessary, as backup.
Occasionally assist with phone, counter, or window orders.
Perform general store cleaning.
