About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products within a designated area and also assists with in-store tasks. Domino’s provides training for deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store activities. The role involves customer service, processing orders, operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. It offers opportunities to develop within the company, including potential progression into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle to use for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to operate a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry items, push or pull loaded trays on dollies, and perform standing, walking, climbing, bending, crouching, squatting, and continuous reaching and hand tasks.
Ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs during some deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area and serve customers during deliveries.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Make correct monetary change and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Assist with other in-store tasks as trained, including making pizza.
