About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role combines driving and customer delivery with general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs, while carrying products.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements and perform tasks quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform physical tasks that include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, and continuous hand use.
Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, including potentially navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Ability to drive in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions and use far and night vision while driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Use computers or touch screens to enter orders and communicate with customers and co-workers.
