About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement opportunities, including management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

In addition to delivery duties, team members may operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. The position involves customer and coworker communication, order entry using a computer keyboard or touch screen, handling payments, and working independently or with others under stress while meeting quality standards.

Work takes place in a store and outdoors during deliveries, with exposure to varying weather, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and changing temperatures. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting and carrying items, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use. Delivery work requires carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, and may involve climbing five or more flights of stairs. Driving requires far and night vision.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make rapid and accurate movements.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical duties described, including carrying pizzas and beverages, walking, and climbing stairs.
