About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas and beverages within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, and preparing products. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main, supplemental, or second job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Must be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within the designated delivery area.
• Use a map and navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Unload bulk deliveries and move supplies into storage and onto shelves.
• Process customer orders by phone and in person, using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Perform other general store duties, including removing trash and completing outside tasks.
