About The Position

Domino's is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area and help with in-store tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning. Drivers must use an insured, registered vehicle and meet the company's driving-history and vehicle-safety requirements. The role includes customer service, order processing, stocking, product preparation, inventory, and facility cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation to prove it.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
Driving record must meet the stated standards: limits on violations and at-fault accidents, no distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years, and no serious violations in the past five years.
Must have access to a vehicle that is insured, registered, and usable for delivery; the driver must be listed as insured on the vehicle's policy.
Must have customer-service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, follow written instructions, and take and process orders by phone.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, and occasional climbing, stooping, or crouching.
Must be able to work in conditions involving varying weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Communicate with customers and co-workers and process orders by telephone and in person.
Help with food preparation and other in-store tasks as needed.
Operate equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload bulk deliveries using a hand truck and move, carry, push, or pull ingredients, supplies, and trays as required.
Maintain a safe operating condition for the vehicle used for deliveries and participate in periodic vehicle inspections.
