About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated area. Drivers deliver by car and carry orders from the vehicle to customers’ doors; they may make several deliveries per shift and also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement into management and other positions. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers are also store team members and may operate equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The work includes driving and navigating delivery locations, interacting with customers and coworkers, and performing physical tasks such as carrying products and navigating stairs. Work may involve adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot equipment, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to carry products while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
Must be able to lift and unload cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and carry them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
