About The Position

The Delivery Driver drives a company vehicle along an established route or territory and helps load, unload, and deliver goods to customer locations. The position is onsite inside a jail or correctional facility and reports to a Food Service Director. The role may also assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing. Employees receive training and may have opportunities for career advancement. A $250 bonus is offered for completing the Rookie’s Fast Track Program within the first 60 days, and DailyPay provides access to earned wages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience delivering products or inventory.
• Valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods; remain on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.

Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, unload, and promptly deliver products and orders.
• Report necessary vehicle maintenance or repairs to the manager.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
• Transport and set up food and food service items.
• Perform other responsibilities as determined by the employer's needs.
