About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The role also performs general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also perform duties covered in the Customer Service Representative description.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
• Must be able to perform arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to make precise, rapid movements with eye-hand and finger coordination.
• Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, occasionally climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
