About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also supports in-store operations, including preparing products, taking and processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino’s provides training across deliveries, pizza making, and other store duties. The position offers opportunities for career growth within Domino’s, including advancement to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with dimensions up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking short distances, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional stair or ladder use, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
• Help with other in-store duties as needed, including making pizza.
