About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, prepares products, stocks ingredients, processes telephone orders, takes inventory, and completes related paperwork. The role also involves cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors, distribute flyers and door hangers, and navigate the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate varied terrain while carrying product.
