About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products to customers by car and to their doors, and distributing flyers and door hangers. The position requires accurate, quick basic arithmetic and monetary change-making; verbal, writing, and telephone skills; coordination and precise movement; computer keyboard or touchscreen order entry; comprehension and communication of written instructions; and navigation of a designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings while carrying products.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
