About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance into management or other positions. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to deliveries, team members may perform general store duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work includes driving and customer interaction, as well as physical tasks in a restaurant environment with varying temperatures, food-related odors and dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Must be able to carry products while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and arms.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Navigate delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and adverse terrain.
