About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment and performs duties related to preparing, processing, and delivering customer orders. The role includes stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and distribute flyers and door hangers. The work requires navigating the designated delivery area and varied delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes. The starting rate is $20–$30 per hour. Health insurance is available for full-time positions; bonus eligibility applies to management roles.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying product.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Navigate varied delivery terrain and sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
