About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The position also involves processing customer orders by phone and in person, making accurate monetary change, and delivering products and promotional materials within the designated delivery area. The role requires navigating to addresses and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes, and carrying products over varied terrain.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between the eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
Responsibilities
