About The Position

The Delivery Driver safely delivers products or flyers within a designated area while providing timely, exceptional customer service. Drivers also help with in-store tasks when deliveries are slow, including taking and processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement. Training is paid and includes videos, coaching guides, quizzes, and on-the-job training.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have three or fewer moving violations in the last three years.
Must not have had any drug- or alcohol-related motor vehicle violations in the last five years.
Must have reliable transportation; delivery requires access to an insured, registered vehicle in proper working condition. Company vehicles may be available at some locations.
Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen and operate store equipment.
Must be able to meet the role's physical and sensory demands, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, reaching, and using hands continuously.
Must be able to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication, and have the vision and depth perception required for the work, including far and night vision for delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver products or flyers safely, securely, and on time within the designated delivery area.
Navigate to addresses using maps and travel through varied locations and terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs, while carrying products.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Help with in-store tasks when not making deliveries.
Take and process orders by telephone and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Complete paid training and participate in the manager development program if pursuing advancement.
