About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas and other products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may also deliver flyers and door hangers and perform general in-store team member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Ability to navigate using maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers and to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to take and process orders by telephone, in writing, and in person; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen; and perform basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, and climbing stairs; delivery routes may require climbing five or more flights of stairs.
• Ability to work with others or independently, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
