About The Position

Domino’s is hiring qualified delivery drivers for local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also perform general store-team duties, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

The work involves operating store equipment and using a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders. Team members may work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and infrequently using stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Possess navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds; carry specified supplies and dough trays; push or pull trays on dollies; and infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, communicating with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck and move items to storage shelves.
• Perform occasional store tasks such as removing trash, changing prices on signs, washing walls, and performing maintenance.
