About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store work, such as helping prepare pizzas, processing orders, stocking ingredients, and cleaning. Domino’s provides training for deliveries and in-store duties. The position offers opportunities to develop within the company, including potential advancement to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record that meets company standards.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone and use near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry supplies and trays, push or pull trays on dollies, and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Ability to bend, crouch, squat, reach, and perform continuous hand tasks, including shaping pizza dough.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Help with in-store tasks, including making pizza and supporting the team.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
