About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including progression to management or franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and also perform general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing phone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards; the posting specifies no more than two speeding tickets in two years.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.
• Ability to carry products, walk, and climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and beverages within the designated delivery area, making multiple deliveries per shift as needed.
• Navigate to addresses in the delivery area, including private homes and other delivery sites, and handle adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings.
• Carry products while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs when required.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers, take and process orders by phone and in person, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Perform outside tasks, including removing trash and couponing, as required.
