About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver pizzas to customers in the designated delivery area. The role may be part time or full time and offers potential opportunities for growth, including into management. Delivery Experts are expected to communicate enthusiastically with customers, maintain a positive personality, be punctual, work with a sense of urgency, and maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Domino’s and Team Fox image standards. Team members may also receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, stock ingredients and supplies, and complete related paperwork. The work involves standing for most of the shift, navigating delivery locations and varied terrain, and handling supplies and food-preparation tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and meet company-specific standards.
- Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate diverse delivery locations.
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Must be comfortable using a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle.
- Must be able to work under stress, perform repetitive tasks, and meet strict quality-control standards.
- Must be able to lift and/or stack ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pizzas promptly to customers in the designated delivery area.
- Communicate enthusiastically and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate diverse delivery terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Domino’s and Team Fox image standards.
- Receive and process telephone orders promptly.
- Take inventory, stock ingredients and supplies, and complete associated paperwork.
- Perform assigned tasks independently and with others while meeting quality-control standards.
- Handle monetary transactions and make correct change.
- Unload, lift, and stack product ingredients and supplies as needed.
