About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers orders to customers within a designated area and also helps with in-store tasks. Team members receive training in deliveries, making pizza, and other store operations. The role offers opportunities to gain experience and potentially advance into management or franchise ownership. Drivers use their own vehicle for deliveries and must meet company driving and insurance standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use. Deliveries and supplies may involve carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and other products to customers within a designated delivery area.
• Operate store equipment and help stock ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare products and assist with making pizza.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Use a map and navigation skills to locate addresses and travel through the delivery area.
• Carry out in-store duties when not making deliveries.
