About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including progression into management or franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. The position involves working in a store environment with temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Team members may also encounter varying or adverse weather while doing outside tasks. Physical tasks include standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and infrequently using stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers by telephone and in person to process orders.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform physical tasks that include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and infrequent climbing or stair navigation.
Ability to lift and move delivery cases weighing up to 50 pounds and stack them on shelves up to 72 inches high.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use a map and navigate to addresses, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
Occasionally change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance, using stairs or a ladder when needed.
