About The Position
The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks and rotates ingredients from delivery to storage and work areas, prepares products, receives and processes telephone and internet orders, counts inventory, completes paperwork, and cleans equipment and the facility. Training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. The role requires safely driving the employee’s own vehicle and navigating roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products. The driver must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately to make monetary change, with a calculator permitted.
Requirements
- Ability to safely drive own vehicle.
- Ability to navigate roads and maps, as well as adverse terrain and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make monetary change; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb ladders and stairs, stoop or bend, crouch or squat, and reach.
- Ability to grasp with hands to use machines, tools, equipment, and work aids.
- Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and conditions inside and outside.
