About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may deliver flyers and door hangers. Drivers use their own insured vehicle and must hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards. The role requires map-reading and navigation skills, including the ability to reach private homes and other delivery sites over adverse terrain and in multi-story buildings. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and carry pizzas and beverages while walking or climbing stairs. Drivers may also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including adverse terrain, private homes, and multi-story buildings.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
