About The Position
Domino’s is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products within a designated delivery area. Drivers use their own vehicles and receive adjustable mileage reimbursement for fuel and other auto-related expenses. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Drivers typically average over $20 per hour including wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement; this is an estimate, not a stated salary range. Drivers can choose their schedules, with flexible short or long shifts and part-time or full-time hours available. The role uses technology intended to support safe and efficient deliveries. Promotional opportunities may include Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, General Manager, and beyond. This position is at a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee alone makes employment decisions, including hiring, supervision, compensation, benefits, staffing, and scheduling.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, subject to review of a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
- Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make good judgments and decisions.
- Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including walking, carrying, climbing, driving, bending, reaching, and frequent hand tasks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products safely within the designated delivery area, making multiple deliveries during a shift as needed.
- Use safe driving practices and navigate to customer addresses using maps or other navigation methods.
- Carry pizzas and beverages between the vehicle and customer locations, including navigating stairs or other terrain.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow directives and quality-control standards.
- Perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, and make sound judgments under stress.
- Distribute flyers and door hangers when required.
- Complete in-store duties as needed, including bending, reaching, stocking ingredients, cleaning, answering phones, and handling pizza-making tools and supplies.
