About The Position

Domino’s is seeking qualified delivery drivers to serve customers in the designated delivery area. Drivers deliver orders while providing customer service and may also perform general in-store team-member duties. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers opportunities for advancement, including into management or franchise ownership. Pay is $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, have been licensed for at least 365 days, and be listed as an insured driver on the policy for an insured vehicle available for deliveries. The role involves standing and walking for store tasks, handling ingredients and supplies, preparing products, processing orders, and cleaning. Delivery work requires navigating to addresses and carrying products across varied terrain, including stairs and multi-story buildings. The job may involve exposure to varying weather, hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and frequent reaching and hand use.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have held a driver's license for at least 365 days.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery and be listed as an insured driver on its insurance policy.
Must have customer service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements and ability to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces; talking and hearing on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
Operate store equipment and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Stock ingredients and supplies in storage areas, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to shelves.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
