About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area and help with in-store tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning. Drivers must use an insured, registered vehicle and meet the company’s driving-history and vehicle-safety requirements. The position pays $16.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may offer opportunities to advance into customer service, management, corporate operations, or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries; the applicant must be an insured driver on the vehicle’s insurance policy, and the vehicle must be registered.
• Must have at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States and provide documentation of that history.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years; a suspension cannot occur at the start of the two-year period.
• Driving record limits: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
• Must have customer-service and verbal, written, and telephone communication skills; be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
• Must have motor coordination, eye-hand coordination, and the ability to use a keyboard or touch screen and perform precise, rapid movements.
• Must be able to navigate delivery locations and carry products while navigating stairs, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Must be able to meet the role’s physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
• Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Periodically assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other general in-store tasks.
• Operate equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage and work areas.
• Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and handle payments, including making correct change.
• Keep the delivery vehicle in safe operating condition and comply with periodic vehicle inspections.
