About The Position

Domino's is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. Drivers also perform general store team-member duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery drivers deliver products by car to customers' doors and may distribute flyers and door hangers. They must be able to navigate the delivery area, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites. The work involves carrying orders, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and may require climbing five or more flights of stairs. The position also involves exposure to varying weather conditions and driving, including at night.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, sit to complete paperwork, and perform repeated bending, reaching, and occasional crouching or squatting.
Be able to unload and handle deliveries, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds and stacking them on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Be able to carry items including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
Be able to push or pull trays on a dolly and infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Have far and night vision for driving and near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks.
Be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Be able to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers' doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate addresses and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
