About The Position

Domino’s is hiring qualified delivery drivers to staff its stores. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job or supplemental work.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain and delivery sites while carrying products.
• Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers and comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Must have basic arithmetic skills, including the ability to make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, and reaching.
• Must be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, including potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to meet the role’s visual and sensory needs, including near-, mid-range, far, and night vision, depth perception, and distinguishing hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate to customer addresses and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
