About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes working in-store: helping the team, preparing products, processing telephone orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino’s provides training for delivery and in-store duties. The position offers opportunities to progress from delivery driving into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform the listed physical duties, including standing, walking, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional stair or ladder use, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone and use near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area and make multiple deliveries per shift as needed.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Assist the in-store team with duties such as making pizza.
