About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff stores in the area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management and potentially franchise ownership or corporate operations. Drivers deliver orders and also perform general store team-member duties, including preparing products, processing telephone orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigation skills to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers by telephone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, sit for paperwork, and occasionally climb stairs or a ladder.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and carry other supplies as described in the job posting.
Ability to work around varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near and mid-range vision and depth perception, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck and move products to storage.
Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
