About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to serve local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow into management or other positions. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and must be able to locate addresses and navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings. Team members also perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position involves working in a restaurant environment with changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks may include standing, walking, sitting to complete paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, moving trays on dollies, and occasionally using stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing.
Work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate customer addresses.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for sign changes, wall washing, or maintenance.
